    StickWars Ultimate Challenge hits the AppStore

    After months of delays, I'm proud to release StickWars Ultimate Challenge. It is a series of mini-games based on the same StickWars gameplay that is so addicting. There are 6 different challenges in the current version, and more will be added for free in later updates.

    The fun part about these mini games is you can use the newest OpenFeint 2.1 release to challenge your friends directly to try to beat your scores. You can try out two of these minigames for free in the current version 1.7 of StickWars Lite, or version 1.7 of StickWars once it is approved by Apple (should be any day now). Let me know how you enjoy it, and have fun!

    Check it out at http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/M...332426830&mt=8

    Nice to hear about that. I like the app icon with the "Ultimate Challenge" text over it. Maybe think about doing that with the original Stickwars?

    It might get confusing which icon is which. You'd be surprised how many people don't actually read words .

    I'm really enjoying the new mini-games, but I have a few suggestions for the new app;

    - Help instructions should be changed (how to play challenges, not original Stick Wars)
    - sound effects/ music should be different
    - love the new loading screen (especially the Cocos2D symbol), but I think it needs some sort of progress bar (use this loading screen for original Stick Wars as well)
    - the person in the gray box (Help menu) doesn't always respond when I try to flick them
    - I don't care for the brighter background when choosing a challenge (this is on both apps)
    - rename "SW Challenge" to "SWUC"
    - there's some slight spacing issues on the Prison Toss and Survival loading screen
    - I also don't think the "difficulty: challenge" under the 'game loaded' bar is necessary (or you could move it down to the bottom of the screen, or whatever works)

    Overall it's a great app, and I'm loving the new graphics. Hopefully v1.7 for Stick Wars arrives soon!

    I love it haha got in the tip 10 for all minigames except Survival, it's too fast for my Brain + Fingers haha.

    I'll post my pics once I get them up on the computer .

    To above post: Good job!

    I have a couple of more suggestions;

    - when you're finished playing a challenge, your high score should appear as well
    - stick figures/ other enemies are sometimes blurry

    Love the new fireball! I can't get enough of the smooth graphics.

    IS there a way for beta testers to keep our old version with extra games but get the latest update?

    Thanks for these tips! Loading bars are actually pretty tricky, I don't think I'll be adding in those soon.

    Most of these issues really are menu issues, which to be honest aren't really my focused. While I agree the StickWars menu could use some touching up, I'm the only dev working on the game and I like to improve gameplay stuff before menu items (as long as the menus work!).
