I sent it to Apple Wednesday of last week, so I’m thinking it will be here at least by Thursday at the latest.
When it comes out I’m going to make announcements everywhere I can

one recommendation. when you release 1.2 with difficulty levels. please make easier levels have lower upkeep costs. the upkeep now is pretty high.
#4 by Eric on April 12th, 2009
I dropped the archer upkeep in all difficulties by half, to 200. I also kept the wizard upkeep low at 200, and repairmen at 50.
Also in Easy mode you get a lot more money for each kill, so it’s a lot easier to have enough money for the upkeep.

Haha, thanks. The newest update coming out to StickWars is 1.1, it includes everything I promised for 1.1 plus more. 1.2 will be out next week, and will have even more.
As soon as Apple accepts the game for the AppStore I will also put the latest version of StickWars back on Cydia. This should happen Thursday or Friday at the latest, hopefully!

I may compile future versions for OS 2.0 after testing, so you might be able to use it. So look forward to updates

Are the any programs that make apps on windows or is it just apple sdk?
#15 by Eric on April 16th, 2009
I’m pretty sure you need Mac in order to make an iPhone application. You could write the code on a Window machine, but I don’t think you’d have the tools you need to test and debug your app.

What does a wizard do in the game?
#17 by Eric on April 16th, 2009
Once you get a wizard, tap the screen with two fingers close together at the same time to launch a meteor.
Once you get at least 20 wizards, you can double tap an enemy to instantly capture him. You can see a lot more hints and information in my forums.

Hello I was wondering if you know where a good tutorial on iphone game programming using cocoa or python. Or do you know an easier software to use to create iphone games?
#19 by Stefan on April 19th, 2009
If I paid you to make me an iphone game( I would make the graphics, sounds, and animation) how much would you want.
#20 by Eric on April 19th, 2009
I would charge by the hour, so a simple game would be cheaper than a more involved game.
For example, the cost of making another game similar in scope to StickWars would be into the thousands.
